IFI is the privileged referent for the management of chemical products for Defense, Military and Civil Aeronautics, a very complex activity due to the many technical and legal aspects that regulate the use of products that protect the configuration of the system with possible impact on flight safety.

1955
IFI enters in the chemical products area establishing commercial partnerships with major chemical manufacturers for the distribution in the Italian market..
1970

1986
IFI creates in Cagliari the first Italian plant in Italy for military spec oil and special fluids production.
1996
In Carsoli (AQ) starts the second plant for chemical production and logistic management.
1999
IFI starts managing all the Italian market for Akzo Nobel Aerospace products until 2004.
2000
IFI, after the realization of several commercial partnership, becomes leader in the commercialization of military spec chemical products.
2001
IFI becomes official distributor of International Paint for the Navy (Akzo Nobel group).
2005
IFI develops L.I.CHE.M.S. ®, an innovative service for the management of chemicals life cycle, from the selection of the product to the waste management (within the others in Finmeccanica Group).
2012
IFI supports the fisrts application in the world of a total CF Akzo Nobel paint schemes for the Italian C130J flleet.
2013
IFI adds to the LICHEMS ® dynamic logistic services for PCPA .
2017
IFI adds to the PARISYS® services for REACh monitoring.
