Intergard 5000 is a high-solids (82%) epoxy anticorrosive primer, tar-free and surface-tolerant, suitable for application on mechanically prepared, grit-blasted, or hydroblasted steel surfaces.
Designed for newbuilding, maintenance, and repair, it can be used as a one- or two-coat system and applied on damp (not wet) surfaces.
Provides excellent corrosion protection, water resistance, and compatibility with a wide range of International® topcoats.
Recommended dry film thickness: 150 μm (range 125–350 μm). Mix ratio: 4:1 (base to curing agent).
VOC compliant (220 g/L) and certified for fire resistance and food contact (grain carriage).
