Alumigrip 4200 is a three-component, low-VOC, high-solids polyurethane topcoat designed for the general aviation market. Provides premium gloss and Distinctness of Image (DOI), excellent UV resistance, and outstanding chemical and hydraulic fluid resistance.
Compatible with Alumigrip 4450 Clearcoat, it offers optimal application properties under various environmental conditions and can be buffed for a perfect finish.
Applied over recommended primers (Alumigrip 10P8-11, Alumigrip 4001) at a 1:1:0.125 mix ratio (base, curing solution, activator) with a dry film thickness of 50–125 μm.
Qualified by Cessna, Gulfstream, Pilatus, and Piper.
