Ardrox 9812 is a post-emulsifiable fluorescent penetrant with medium sensitivity (Level 2 per AMS 2644), designed for non-destructive testing of metallic components. It provides sharp indications with exceptionally low background and excellent fluorescence stability under heat and UV exposure. Suitable for spray, immersion, brush, and electrostatic applications.
Compliant with AMS 2644 Type I, Methods B, C, D, and EN ISO 3452-2, it is approved by CFM International, Pratt & Whitney, SAFRAN Group, Rolls-Royce, and SNECMA.
Used in combination with Ardrox 9881 (hydrophilic emulsifier) and Ardrox 9D4A (dry powder developer), it is non-corrosive to common metals. Recommended tank material: stainless steel. Storage temperature: 10–40°C.
