Nycoprotec 8188 is a preservative oil for aircraft turbine engines, compliant with MIL-PRF-8188 D and identified by NATO Code C-638. It is based on neopolyol esters, antioxidants, anti-wear agents, and corrosion inhibitors, with a viscosity of 3 cSt at 100°C.

Designed to protect turbine engine lubrication systems during storage, it is compatible with MIL-PRF-7808, MIL-PRF-23699, and DoD-PRF-85734 turbine oils, with no flushing required before operational use. Listed by Airbus Helicopters (CM1998).

Performs excellently in corrosion, evaporation, oxidation stability, and foam tests, meeting all military specification limits.
