Aerodur 3001 Basecoat is a chemically cured polyurethane basecoat designed for aircraft basecoat/clearcoat systems. Provides uniform coverage in one or two wet coats and, combined with Aerodur 3002 Clearcoat, delivers reduced cycle time, superior chemical and stain resistance, flexibility, and outstanding weathering performance.
Compatible with AkzoNobel primers, applied on clean, sanded surfaces at a 6:1:0.5 mix ratio (base, curing solution, activator) with a dry film thickness of 25–75 μm.
Compliant with AMS3095, BMS 10-125, and BMS 10-72, approved by Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Comac, and other major OEMs.
