Aerodur 5000 Camouflage is a two-component, isocyanate-cured polyurethane topcoat for military aircraft exterior camouflage finishes. Offers excellent durability, weathering resistance, superior fluid and chemical resistance, flexibility, and easy cleanability.
Features a unique curing mechanism allowing 24-hour fly-away time at 21–25°C.
Applied over qualified primers (e.g., MIL-PRF-23377, Aerodur HS 2118 CF Primer) at a 3:1 mix ratio (base and curing solution) with a dry film thickness of 43–58 μm (MIL-PRF-85285) or 60–75 μm (AIMS 04.04.036).
Compliant with MIL-PRF-85285 Type IV, Airbus AIMS 04.04.036, and other global specifications.
