NYCO Grease GN 22 is an NLGI 2 clay-thickened synthetic grease based on hydrocarbon oil, formulated with antiwear and extreme pressure additives. Provides corrosion and oxidation protection, excellent load-carrying capacity, and low evaporation loss.
Operating range: -65°C to +177°C. Suitable for airframe components (doors, flaps, landing gear), wheel bearings, and helicopter main and tail rotors.
Approved to MIL-PRF-81322 G and DCSEA 395/C, listed in Airbus, Boeing, ATR, and Airbus Helicopters material lists.
Currently being replaced by NYCO Grease GN 3058 for wheel bearing applications.
