ARDROX® AV 40 is a transparent, heat-resistant, water-displacing corrosion inhibitor designed for aircraft components exposed to high temperatures.
Ideal for engine parts, pylons, and cowlings, it withstands 150°C continuously and 210°C short-term.
It forms a tack-free film (40–60 µm) and can be applied by spray, brush, or dip.
For movable parts, AV 25 is recommended.
Application via ACS (airmix) or AAS (airless) systems is preferred.
Removable with AV980 or 6135T, shelf life is 2 years.
