Intergard 269 is a quick-drying, two-component epoxy primer, used as a holding primer for prepared steel or as a tie coat over zinc primers. Provides anticorrosive protection and minimizes zinc salt formation and pinholing in subsequent coatings. Suitable for newbuilding, maintenance, and repair, compatible with cathodic protection systems. Color: Red. Recommended dry film thickness: 40 μm, theoretical coverage 11.75 m²/L. Application by airless spray, roller, or brush. Fast drying: touch dry in 30 mins at 25°C, hard dry in 8 hrs. VOC: 450 g/L. Mixing ratio: 4:1 (Part A/B). Not suitable below 5°C; optimum performance above 10°C. Certified for fire resistance and food contact (grain carriage).
