Interthane 990E is a two-component, high-solids aliphatic acrylic polyurethane topcoat designed for superior aesthetics and durability. Ideal as a cosmetic finish for above-water areas: topsides, external superstructures, decks, and boottops. Provides high gloss, optimized application properties, and dry heat resistance up to 120°C. Compatible with approved primers (Intergard, Intershield, Interprime). Recommended dry film thickness: 50 μm, theoretical coverage 14 m²/L. Application by airless spray, brush, or roller. Fast drying: touch dry in 2 hrs at 25°C, hard dry in 6 hrs. VOC: 310 g/L. Certified for fire resistance, smoke & toxicity, compliant with marine standards and NORSOK M-501.
